The Turkish Film Festival 2014 in Stockholm

Yesterday it was the opening of the Turkish Film Festival.  This year they are celebrating the Centenary of Turkish Cinema 1914-2014. The ambassador Koya Türkmen presented the festival. The actor Mert Fırat, other actors and many guests attended the opening of the festival. The film "The Butterfly´s Dream" by the director Yilmaz Erdogan opened the festival. The festival takes place at Cinema Skandia on december 5-7.  The festival is in cooperation with SF bio AB.  During the festival seven movies from Turkey are shown. It costs 60 kronor to see each film. The surpluse of the festival will go to the Queen Silvia Foundation. The gala premiere was arranged by SF bio, Turkish Ambassad and Mia Jorpes, Wonderland Event.
